Just a note to let everyone know that people are still letterboxing
in the midwest...haven't seen any posts for the area in a while.
We went out Saturday and we were able to dodge the rain. Found seven
boxes in the area.
Updates:
Tyranena, Lake Mills, Wisconsin--found in good shape.
E-Way Trails, Madison, Wisconsin--found...a little wet in the
box...replaced ziplock bags that had holes in them.....Avoided the
rain by minutes at this point!
Hansen Golf Course-Milwaukee County Park Series--Found in good shape.
Dretzka Park-Milwaukee County Park Series--Found in good shape.
Brown Deer Park-Miwaukee County Park Series--Found in good shape.
Estabrook Park Boxes #2 and #3--Found in the dark...in good shape.

we are also WI letterboxers but the weather hasn't been so cooperative. we
did manage, in the past couple weeks, to find the wehr nature center box
, the boyhood adventure series (good shape, though the
doctor's park one had obviously been water damaged prior - it was dry and
sealed tight when we found it, though), the and on easter sunday we traveled
to geneva, illinois and found the island park box, also in fine condition.
we were there for a cougar's ballgame and used the time before the game to
go letterboxing...a great way to spend a sunday!
